Get to know Ginger
Ginger Shaw was born and bred for change. She was raised in an Air Force family and lived in 18 places in18 years; she attended 12 schools in 12 years. As a communicator, her goal is to change the hearts, minds, and actions of her audiences. A former college communications instructor, Ginger has served with the Speak Up Conference for over 25 years, bringing with her a commitment to equip, a passion for advocacy, a spirit of fun, and a touch of drama. She has served as a women’s ministry director, events & concert coordinator, Bible study teacher, leadership trainer, speaker, and a coach to speakers.
Ginger serves with World Concern, an international Christian humanitarian organization, in the development and promotion of Women of Purpose, human rights advocacy and support for women and children in need around the world. As founder and director of FreeThem Road, an anti-human trafficking advocacy group, Ginger speaks on behalf of victims.
The one constant in her life is family. She and her husband, David, are parents of three grown-ups and grandparents of three growing-ups. They live in San Diego, California.
