Bonnie Keen is a founding member of the critically acclaimed recording trio First Call. She’s received multiple Dove Awards, Grammy nominations, and an Emmy for her work as a recording artist, author and speaker. She has traveled extensively performing across the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe with First Call, Amy Grant, Sandi Patty, and Bebe and CeCe Winans.

The original First Call trio continues to perform and has a new EP slated for release in early 2014.

Penning several number one contemporary Christian songs with First Call, Bonnie covered new ground as a solo artist writing for her own CDs: “Marked For Life,” “God Of Many Chances” and “Evidence of Love.” As a survivor of divorce, single parenthood, and clinical depression, Bonnie’s story has graced the covers of “Today’s Christian Woman” and “Virtue” magazine. She’s been featured on “100 Huntley Street”, “James Robison” and “The 700 Club”. Her first three books titles: “Blessed Are the Desperate,” “God Loves Messy People,”and “A Ladder Out of Depression.”

In 2010, Bonnie combined her musical theatre background with ministry culminating in a two-woman musical, ‘Women Who Dare to Believe’ with Nan Gurley. This 90 minute presentation prompted a two semester Bible Study which continues to inspire 21st Century women to find common ground with their Biblical foresisters.

In 2013, God provided a wildly varied stream of work from performances with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival, taping a DVD honoring The Women of Homecoming with Gloria Gaither and a tour in Malaysia with Windborne Productions “The Music of Michael Jackson.”

Bonnie views life in Christ as an ongoing and challenging adventure. She prays He will use her efforts to bring life in Him to others through her work in the arts. Bonnie is also deeply grateful to Jesus for meeting the needs of her beloved family: Brent, her husband and her children, Courtney and Graham.
