Debbie Alsdorf is a literary agent with Books and Such Literary Management, representing non-fiction authors. She is known by many as a cheerleader of hope. Her mission is clear, to help women live a better story by leading them to the heart of God’s love. She has spent most of her adult life in Women’s Ministry and the past 25 years vulnerably sharing her story with the purpose of helping others. In addition to agenting, she speaks internationally, is a certified life coach and a writing coach. She has been in Christian publishing for over twenty years, traditionally published 14 books, been featured in four compilations and has written multiple curriculums on assignment for large publishing houses. Her most recent book, It’s Momplicated, was featured on The Today Show, Focus on the Family and other national syndicated broadcasts.
Debbie and her husband Ray have moved from a lifetime in California to Chandler, Arizona. They have raised a blended family of four children who have blessed them with ten little ones who affectionately call her Grammy.

Everybody loves a good story. Stories paint pictures, engage,stimulate and open dialogue and thought. As Christian communicators it’s important to learn to harness the power and craft of telling stories in our writing and speaking. Jesus taught in stories and parables to drive a point home to his listeners, so it makes sense that we too learn to use the power of story to enhance our ministries. This workshop will help you define the stories that match your calling and craft your stories so you are prepared to use them. We will also be looking at the fine tuning of telling our hard stories in a way that honors God and respects others.
