Diana Pintar’s journey with Jesus is decades long, complicated, and redemptive. It includes divorce and remarriage, faltering faith and restored faith, and decades of serving Jesus. From the kitchen table to the platform, to a church staff as director of women’s ministries and director of small group leadership development, and throughout “retirement”, Diana has found God faithful in fulfilling his call on her life as expressed in Ephesians 4:12, “…train Christ’s followers in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church, until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ.” [MSG}
Diana’s “pre-retirement” ministry was called “The Next Step”. It is her passion to encourage others to take the next step in their walk with Jesus at whatever level of “maturity in the faith” that step might be. In the 15+ years of retirement, where Diana has discovered you don’t retire from serving the King of Creation, Diana has been serving God by moving with the move of the Holy Spirit, mentoring others as God has invited, walking alongside them on a one-year step-by-step journey through the Bible.
In 2020, Diana’s “retirement ministry” moved back into her local church. At registration, 130 women begin a journey through God’s word as BIAY (Bible in a Year) was established as the core ministry in the women’s ministry. When Covid hit, with God’s leading, the ministry moved to a Zoom format without missing a meeting. This year (2021) the next generation leadership team is moving BIAY forward into the future and the ministry continues to grow.
