Breakout Session

Overcome the Lies Hindering Your Writing and Speaking Ministry

As writers and speakers in ministry, we are called to be transparent, vulnerable, and authentic. And we want to be, don’t we? Yet sometimes we fight an inner war—a battle against the derogatory remarks, negative labels, and corresponding emotional wounds from our past that seem to bombard us when we try to focus on ministry. When those wounds are in the area of our gifting, the joy of writing and speaking for God can be diminished. But God wants to restore and grow our joy as we work for and with Him. In this session, author, speaker, and teacher Shellie Arnold shares how she was wounded where she was gifted, how God brought healing through one simple truth, and how that truth can reinvigorate your ministry as it did hers.
