Tanya Phillips

Get to Know Tanya:

Tanya Phillips is passionate about people and has a strong heart for encouraging others. She has been an elementary teacher in Michigan for 20 years and was “Teacher of the Year” in her school district. She has her Master’s Degree in Administration with a major in ELA and a minor in social science.

Tanya has held various ministry leadership positions in local churches such as a mid-week children’s ministry director, director of VBS/Sports Camp, served on church board as a board member, and taught various Sunday School classes. She has led various women’s bible studies and she and her husband created and led a blended family ministry at their church for several years. Tanya also enjoys writing devotionals and weekly encouragement for her social media ministry and blog; Blended By His Grace.

She is excited about the opportunity to bring others to the throne of God and encourage and pray for others along their journey with Christ. She has a passion for walking with the hurting as she has experienced trials of her own such as being a prodigal daughter in her teenage years, divorce and codependency in her 30s, walking the journey of childhood cancer with one of her own children, and re-marriage and blending five teenagers into a new family unit.

Through daily time spent in God’s life-changing Word and prayer, she has found strength and heart transformation, knowing her worth as a beloved daughter of the King.

This is Tanya’s second year with Speak Up as a prayer team member. She is thrilled and honored to be part of this life changing, impactful conference, while growing deeper in her relationship with Christ, and be able to pray and cheer for all of you along your journeys. You may meet her in one of the Zoom prayer rooms.
