Karen is a Senior Literary Agent and the COO of Credo Communications, where she assists authors with their book proposals and connects them with potential publishers. For the past decade, she has worked alongside nonfiction authors who write about Christian Living and Spiritual Growth, as well as topics geared toward women and families.
Credo Communications LLC represents some of the leading Christian thinkers and writers today. Having worked on both sides of the publisher’s desk, our agents know how to advocate for veteran voices with fresh ideas. We dream together, and when we have the concept solidly in focus, we take those ideas to the right publishing partner. After the proposal gets accepted, we become advocates and cheerleaders every step of the way.
Karen will be teaching a breakout session and taking 15-minute appointments.
Do You Really Need an Agent? – Not sure which publishing route is right for you? Senior Literary Agent Karen Neumair provides a brief overview of three publishing paths to help you identify which one is best for your unique literary aspirations. She then more closely examines the role and responsibilities of an agent to help you understand if what you are writing actually requires one, including suggestions on how to find the right one. (Ideal for authors unsure which route is right for them.)
