Kim de Blecourt

Kim de Blecourt is an international speaker, an award-winning author, and an advocate for global orphan care through the Church. Kim is the author of “I Call You Mine: Embracing God's Gift of Adoption” (New Hope Publishers, 2018) and “Until We All Come Home: A Harrowing Journey, a Mother’s Courage, a Race to Freedom" (FaithWords, 2012). Kim (and co-author, Kathy Bruins) have written “The Book Proposal: Seven Simple Steps to a Successful Book Proposal.”

Kim has taught many classes and mentored fellow authors and speakers at different conferences, such as:

  • Florida Christian Writers Conference
  • Speak Up with Carol Kent
  • Maranatha Christian Writers Conference
  • Orange County Christian Writers Conference
  • Various Word Weaver retreats

Kim is the executive director of Nourished Hearts, a global orphan care non-profit. Kim volunteers in Washington D.C. as an adoption and orphan care advocate, and loves to encourage new writers. Kim, her husband and children live in Michigan.
