Jennie’s Workshops Goal Planning
Ever wish you could really accomplish something BIG in your family, your business, or ministry? In this workshop you will be introduced to a tried and true plan for prayerfully setting goals, giving them to God, and watching Him do the remarkable through you! It will teach you to look at the “Big Picture” and to do long range planning—one purposeful step at a time.
A separate evaluation guide will be available for ministry leaders to help you evaluate specific areas in your ministry that may need to be targeted for improvement.
Reach HIGH! We have a big God, and He wants to be a part of your plans.
Make Bible Characters Come ALIVE!!!
We all have photo albums, right? What type of memorable occasions do we record in our albums?....Weddings, vacations, birthdays and more—and in almost every picture the people in the photos are smiling.
We have an extraordinary album available to us. The Bible introduces us to the lives of some amazing ancient characters—and surprisingly, not all of them are smiling. We get the good, bad and beautiful, plus the obedient, wicked, faithful and the rebellious! Many of the stories are more exciting than a movie script and the scripture tells us that they are there for “our instruction in righteousness.”
The biblical characters workshop will teach you how to research these fascinating people and show you where to get information about their culture, politics and customs. You will also hear a biblical story brought to life in a powerful and entertaining way, and learn how to make applications for your audiences.
Marketing your Ministry
So, God has laid it on your heart to speak and you are ready to step up to the mic.
• Where can you find opportunities to minister?
• What materials are essential to give you professional credibility?
• How important are CDs and/or DVDs to give to leaders as a sample of your work?
• How important is it to have your own website?
• What if a group leader asks how much you charge?
• What if they don’t mention an honorarium?
• Should you free-lance or consider a manager or agent?
• Are you keeping proper records for tax purposes?
• Have you expanded you repertoire of messages for future opportunities?
The Marketing your Ministry workshop will give practical tips for beginning and intermediate speakers, addressing all of the above questions and many more. You will receive many handouts (not already included in the Speak-up notebook) that will be helpful for record keeping, ordering on-line resources, bio examples and more.
