What makes Speak Up a uniquely special conference, and why do people come back year after year? That’s a great question and has more than one answer. 

1. This conference is grounded in prayer. 

Starting with the very first conference, a pattern of prayer has been our plan and our foundation. We now have a team of 12 godly women who are praying for each person who registers. You will receive an email from one of them inviting you to share personal prayer requests. We know that God does the amazing when we include Him in the process.

2. There are new breakout session topics offered every year. 

This gives you the opportunity to learn from some of the best faculty members in the business. With two tracks, Speaking and Writing, you’ll get teaching that will take you to the next level in your personal ministry. Our Ministry Development options cover everything else, including podcasting, website development, social media, branding, and  much more.  

This year’s conference theme is “My Story—God’s Glory” and we have six keynote messages that will be filled with the way God uses even the most unlikely candidates to turn their mess into the most extraordinary examples of God’s ability to use every story for His glory.

• In Person Conference – Join us for three days at the Prince Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a life-changing time together. Take advantage of meeting face-to-face with experts in their fields of expertise with up to four 15-minute appointments. Enjoy coming in a few hours early and attending one of our eight Pre-Conference Sessions. Network with other like-minded people and join in our round table discussions. 

• Virtual Conference – No matter where you are located anywhere in the world, you can join us from the comfort of your home. You can save money on transportation and housing while still getting all the content—which will be available to you for a full year. Network with others, joining us virtually in our chat rooms. You can also receive personal prayer in our staff-led virtual prayer rooms. You’ll also get on-screen interviews with faculty members. You can focus on one of the two tracks (Speaking or Writing) or get access to everything, including the Ministry Development sessions, with the full package.

• Satellite Conference – Experience the Speak Up Conference with friends, neighbors, your small group, or your home church family—without a long drive or a plane ride. This NEW format provides a unique opportunity to come together with two or more people for an incredible remote conference.
