Dawn Mann Sanders knows what it is to have her world end. Widowed suddenly in 2011, she learned firsthand that surviving a loss and rebuilding a life require different tools. Today she’s an author, Bible teacher, and the Restoration Architect™ behind the Creative Restoration Movement™, helping high-capacity Christian women live an abundant life again after devastating loss. Her debut book, When Your World Ends: God’s Creative Process for Rebuilding a Life (IVP, 2024), maps the way forward. Dawn serves as an associate minister and director of small groups at First Baptist Church of Glenarden International and hosts the Rebuilding Your Life podcast. She’d tell you what she tells every widow: you’re not behind, and you’re not alone.
Dawn has ministered for over two decades as a teacher and associate minister at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, one of the largest congregations in Maryland. She is a graduate of Bethel Seminary (summa cum laude) and brings together her background as a data scientist with her calling as a Bible communicator to design systems, resources, and frameworks that make spiritual growth tangible and actionable.
At Speak Up 2027, Dawn will encourage attendees with her own story of restoration while equipping them with practical strategies, rhythms, and tools to share their messages faithfully. She believes that when people embrace God’s blueprint for rebuilding, they don’t just survive loss—they create something new with Him.
