Joel Armstrong is content editor and product developer for Our Daily Bread Publishing. He came to publishing with a background in education, teaching college-level writing while in a PhD program studying English literature. He enjoys developmental editing, when he gets to come alongside authors in the early stages to help shape their manuscripts, but he also knows the satisfaction of a well-placed comma. Joel lives in West Michigan with his wife (a birth photographer) and their two daughters. He likes spending time in their garden, cooking, hiking, and getting to the beaches of Lake Michigan as often as possible.
