Steve Harling is a pastor, CEO, author, coach, and sought-after missions speaker with more than 35 years of experience leading churches, organizations, and global ministry initiatives. As a pastor, Steve led thriving churches of up to 4,500 members and served on the boards of numerous global ministries. He later became CEO of an international mission organization focused on medicine, media, and community development—giving him a front-row seat to the challenges and opportunities of global ministry.
In 2021, Steve co-founded Compel Global and The Compel Collective with his son. Today, as Compel’s Chief Storyteller, Steve travels nationally and internationally, helping churches and mission leaders see what God is doing around the world and inspiring them to engage in His mission. He also conducts executive searches for nonprofits and churches with MissionLeadership.org
Steve is the co-author, with his wife, Becky, of Listen Well, Lead Better, published by Bethany House. His passion is simple: to help leaders maximize their impact in God’s global kingdom.
