As the year winds down, you might feel the pull to reflect on where you’ve been and where you’re headed. What’s the next step for your calling? How can you make the impact you’ve always dreamed of as a writer, speaker, or leader?
If you’ve wrestled with questions like these, you’re not alone. Many of us start the year energized, only to lose momentum. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to figure this out alone.
When Peter wrote about what makes faith fruitful in 1 Peter 1:5-8, he gave us a framework for growth:
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:5-8, NIV)
This passage reminds us that impactful growth is intentional, not accidental. Deliberate growth is fueled by effort, community, and the power of God’s Spirit. If you want to see real progress in your ministry, writing, or leadership, joining a supportive group could be the game-changer you need.
Here’s why and how a community can help you create a meaningful and transformational 2025 plan.
- Accountability keeps you moving forward.
Have you ever felt stuck or overwhelmed by your goals? You’re not alone. Many writers, speakers, and leaders struggle to follow through on their plans because they don’t have someone to walk alongside them.
That’s where the community comes in. Imagine having a group of people who care about your success, who check in with you regularly and cheer you on every step of the way.
This kind of support can be the difference between giving up and breaking through. You’ll gain the confidence to keep moving, even when the path feels challenging.
- To create a solid plan, you need accessibility to those who have forged the path ahead.
No one should have to figure out everything alone. Whether you’re refining your craft, building an audience, or growing in leadership, the shared knowledge in a group setting is invaluable.
You can connect with others who’ve been where you are and are willing to share what’s worked for them—and what hasn’t. You’ll walk away with practical strategies, time-saving tips, and fresh ideas you can implement immediately.
This opportunity reflects Peter’s encouragement to “add knowledge” to our faith, ensuring you’re inspired and equipped to take meaningful action in your calling.
- A strong community will impact your plan creation and implementation through encouragement.
Fear of failure, rejection, or simply not being “good enough” can paralyze even the most talented creatives and leaders. But when you’re part of a group that believes in you, that fear loses its grip.
It would help to have a safe place to share your dreams, struggles, and questions. It should be a community rooted in faith, reminding you that you’re not alone and that God is working through you.
Imagine stepping into 2025 with renewed courage, ready to take bold steps toward the vision God has placed on your heart.
- Your 2025 plans should reflect your purpose and align with your calling.
It’s easy to get caught up in productivity for productivity’s sake, but real impact happens when your plans align with your God-given purpose.
Community can help you regain focus on what truly matters. Together, you’ll craft a plan that checks off goals, glorifies God, and serves others in meaningful ways.
As Peter (and Carol Kent) reminds us, it’s about bearing fruit that lasts—and doing it with perseverance, godliness, and love.
Your Next Step for a Fruitful 2025
You don’t have to navigate your calling alone. Speak Up Growth Groups provide the support, encouragement, and practical tools you need to make 2025 your most impactful year yet.
What are Speak Up Growth Groups? They were born out of our very own Speak Up Conference, the premier conference for speakers and writers to advance their personal or professional ministry.
Growth Groups consist of two levels: Lean In and Learn On. Each group consists of 6-8 participants and a leader who serves as either a discussion facilitator or intensive coach.
Lean In is our entry-level peer-to-peer mastermind group designed for someone who has never participated in mastermind groups before or has beginning experience. This level walks through a monthly focused topic curriculum and a group discussion to promote accountability and community. The Zoom meeting lasts 90 minutes and is guided by an experienced discussion facilitator.
Learn On is our intensive coaching group designed for speakers, writers, and leaders pushing forward to the next level of their ministry. These groups also meet and walk through the monthly curriculum together. Still, in addition to the Lean In material, they receive 20 minutes of intensive coaching, a bonus sheet of resources that complement the month’s topic, AND an additional monthly Zoom meeting with Carol Kent, Rachel Wojo, our intensive coaching group leaders, and Learn On members.
SPECIALTY GROUPS
Learn On focused groups will continue with two specialty opportunities: PODCASTING and WRITING. All meeting details and group information are the same as our standard Learn On groups with a FOCUS on the group specialty of podcasting or writing. Let us help you answer your “HOW?”!
Registration is OPEN NOW, but only for a limited time.
